The Things We Don’t Want To Talk About
Everything Stems From Childhood
In this episode, I dive into a very vulnerable conversation about my childhood growing up and exploring the mental and emotional trauma I’ve experienced as a child in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. I reflect on where my need to feel seen, accepted, and heard started from and how it shows up in my adulthood experiences. I look back on my parental protection, lack thereof, and also thinking backwarsd as to how growing up fast has implicitly showed through my over-ambition, need to prove, and the fight to re-invent myself. This episode is for all those who are learning and unlearning the stories that have been told since childhood.
